History

Growing up in Northwest Arkansas, fishing was just what I did with my friends, family, and the people closest to me. Catching night crawlers and minnows is a family tradition that goes back to my great-grandpa. He had trapping, farming, and fishing skills unmatched in our town. I am so thankful that my family passed their love for bass fishing and commitment to hard work down to me.

AS A TEENAGER, I HAD THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE AROUNd OZARK ar. The home of Rebel Lures aka, Pradco. I WAS ABLE TO work lures that were not sold yet. WITHOUT KNOWING IT, I BECAME A STUDENT OF WHAT WORKED AND DID NOT.

Not long after, in 1997, I found myself arming and disarming jigs, coming up with my own designs, and catching a heckuva lot more bass than ever before. At first, I kept my new designs to myself.

In 2013, I started selling my designs from bait shop to bait shop. It took a while, but I developed a loyal group of clients. By 2021, I had all I needed to open my bait and tackle shop. I called it WHITE OAK BAIT COMPANY after the site where my love for fishing was born.

I’ve teamed up with several fishing professionals from Tennessee, Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma to constantly improve the products I create and give my clients the best fishing experience wherever their fishing adventures take them. We are a small business where I can produce a thousand plus jigs and lures each week working alone. We sell to everyone, but I cater to enthusiasts like myself who have bass fishing in their blood.

I’ve been fishing all my life, love it, and know my stuff. I’m thankful for each loyal customer and am proud to offer good old-fashioned customer service. I’m in the store just about every day. Please stop by, and let’s talk about bass fishing, life around Mulberry, the Razorbacks, or whatever is on your mind. I can’t wait to meet you!
